Essential Steps of Hand Washing
- Wet your hands with clean water.
- Apply enough soap to cover all hand surfaces.
- Rub palms together.
- Rub the back of each hand with the opposite palm.
- Rub palm to palm with fingers interlaced.
- Rub the backs of fingers against the opposite palms with fingers interlocked.
- Rub each thumb using a rotational motion.
- Rub fingertips and inner surfaces of the palms using a rotational motion.
- Rinse your hands thoroughly with clean water.
